Manuscript copies of speeches given by McLean to the following groups: Hamilton Literary Association, 1866; the Mercantile Library, 1867; and the Hamilton Club, 1882-1885. The 1869 speech at the Hamilton Literary Association was a tribute to Robert T. Downie. The 1867 address was given at the opening of the Mercantile Library.
